The importance of a Kehila

Kanfé Nesharim is not just a synagogue or a place to pray. B"H Israel is full of minyanim everywhere, even inside public transportation and supermarkets.

Kanfé Nesharim is a community that provides what an Oleh Chadash (new immigrant) needs most: support. Someone to be there in good times and bad, lend a helping hand, guide you in hard times, and celebrate with you in moments of joy.

We are in charge of helping Olim Chadashim integrate into life in Israel, from getting them furniture to helping them with banking procedures, work contacts, and school advice. Of course, we also bring them food and invite them to our homes to spend Shabbat. This is what you do with your loved ones, and this is what we do in our big family.

Just like a family that grows and needs to move from their newlywed studio apartment to a larger house where they can be with all their children, we need a space to accommodate our growing community.
